Skye Edwards International Student Liaison Officer
Skye liaises with International students as well as completes administration for uploading with UKBA. She has gained an NVQ 3 in Business Administration and NVQ2 in Customer Service. Skye previously gained 9 GCSE’s, 1 AS and BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. She also continues with modelling, acting and singing in her spare time
Rishi Tiwarie BSc DipBM MIS & Finance Administrator
Rishi has a Bachelor of Science and a post-graduate Diploma in Business Management. Rishi has gained his NVQ 3 in Business Administration. His previous roles have included Trainer, Consultant and Manager of service based industries.
Cheryl Johnson RMA
LEAD IV
Cheryl has several years experience as a Registered Manager and a trainer. She is fully qualified gaining NVQ3, NVQ4, RMA, Assessor and Verifier Awards, IOSH Managing Safely and FE Teaching Certificate 7407. She has previously been a support worker for learning disabilities, senior support worker and registered manager. Cheryl is currently studying NVQ4 Learning and Development.
Sonja Smit BA Hum BA Psy Tutor
Sonja is qualified with two BA’s, NVQ2 Health and Social Care, LDAF and has gained several vocational qualifications. She has gained experience in the UK as a support worker and has specialised in learning disabilities and autism. Sonja has previously been an au pair in Germany and a life-skill teacher in South Africa. In addition, Sonja is a fully qualified Netball Coach. Sonja is currently studying for her Verifiers Award.
Malcolm Day RGN MA(Educ) MSc(Phil) Tutor / IV
Malcolm has had over 25 years experience as a manager, practitioner and educator in the field of Health and Social Care. He has worked as a Staff Nurse in Medical and Surgical Nursing, and Care of the Elderly. He has also worked as a Charge Nurse in Medical, Paediatrics and Accident and Emergency Nursing. Malcolm has worked as a Nursing Officer in Occupational Health.
His qualifications include Registered General Nurse, Certificate in Education, Registered Nurse Teacher, Diploma in Nursing, Bachelor Education, Assessor & Verifier Awards, Master of Education and Master of Philosophy.
He belongs to several professional bodies including Nursing and Midwifery Council, Registered Adult Nurse and Practice Educator, Fellow of the Institute for Learning, Fellow of Higher Education Academy and Fellow Royal Society of Public Health.
Valerie Hellier Tutor / IV
Val is qualified at level 4 Care Management and she has been an NVQ assessor for 15 years and Internal Verifier for 8. Val has had 14 years experience within the care industry and holds several vocational qualifications. Valerie is teacher trained to level 4 and is an affiliated member of the IFL.
Bonita Coe Tutor / IV
Bonita has worked for 26 years in the care industry, in a variety of hands on rolls. Bonita has 10 years experience as an NVQ assessor and 5 as an internal verifier. Bonita has a range of care qualifications including NVQ HSC 3, a teaching qualification at level 4 and is an affiliated member of the IFL.
Millie Parker Tutor
Millie has 15 years experience as a carer in a variety of fields and is at present a part-time carer in the community. Millie is an experienced assessor with a level 4 teaching qualification, she also holds several vocational qualifications including her level 3 NVQ HSC. Millie is an affiliated member of the IFL.
Debbie Gatens RGN Tutor
Debbie has been a Registered Nurse for 28 years, working in a variety of HSC settings. Debbie also holds Diploma’s in Asthma Care, Diabetic Management, and other relevant HSC related qualifications. Debbie is an experienced tutor and assessor and holds a level 4 teaching qualification. Debbie is an affiliated member of the IFL.
Roseline Henshaw Tutor
Roseline has a NVQ HSC level 2 and 3 plus her RMA, she has 12 years experience of working in the care sector and 4 years experience as an Assessor and Tutor. Rosiline holds a wide variety of care qualifications and a teaching qualification at level 4. Roseline is an Associate of IFL.

Janet has nearly 30 years experience within the care industry, she holds her NVQ level 2 and 3 in HCS and is an experienced tutor, assessor and internal verifier. Janet also holds several relevant vocational qualifications.
Susan Povan Tutor
Susan has over 10 years experience as an assessor, she has had several years experience as a carer, within a variety of settings, and holds a variety of care qualifications including level 2 and 3 in HSC. Susan also holds a level 4 teaching qualification.

Elizabeth has been a registered nurse for 26 years and has experience in a wide variety of HSC settings. Elizabeth also has 4 years experience working as a trainer and NVQ assessor.
Philip Raymond John Howell Tutor / IV
Phillip is a Registered Social Worker, with 20 years experience working in a variety of settings. Phillip also has a substantial amount of health care experience. Philip has had 10 years experience as a trainer/assessor and an internal verifier. Philip holds a variety of care qualifications, and a level 4 teaching qualification.
Michelle Reed Tutor
Michelle has over 10 years experience in the care profession in a variety of hands on roles. Michelle has several qualifications including A1 assessors award, COSHH, Diabetes training, Adult Protection, Abuse, First Aid, Parkinson’s, Manual Handling and several other certificates. Michelle has been a qualified assessor since 2007.
Agnieszka Niziol Tutor
Agnieszka, originating from Poland, has previously gained over three years experience in the UK as a care assistant. She has gained NVQ2 in Health and Social Care, Adult Literacy and Numeracy and ECDL. Agnieszka gained two degrees in Poland at the University of Lublin in Biological Studies and is a qualified Teacher of the same. She is currently studying for her Assessor Awards.

Cath Handyside RGN BSc CGFNS Tutor
Cath is a fully qualified nurse who has worked in the UK and USA. She has several qualifications including Bachelor of Nursing Degree, Diploma in Nursing Studies, State Enrolled Nurse and American Nursing Exam.
Cath has gained her experience in a variety of roles most recently as a Registered Nurse at Renown Hospital, Reno, Nevada, USA. Previously she has worked as a RGN for Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, Scotland.
Cath continues to support NHS 24 as a Nurse Practitioner. Cath is able to deliver practical short care / nursing courses eg Medicines, Dementia, Infection Control etc whilst Assessing NVQ’s.
Michelle Dedman NEBOSH NCPLH Licensing and Food Safety Tutor
Michelle has gained D32 & 33 Assessors Awards in Customer Service, Warehousing and Retail as well as the safety qualification NEBOSH. She has previously worked as a training officer in her fields of competence. Michelle has predominately operated within the Licensing Sector and has been a Licensee and Tenant of Public Houses. She has also been a carer and qualified assessor since 1996. Michelle teaches Licensing including NCPLH and Food Safety.
Graham Giddy BSc MSyl MCMI NEBOSH AMIOSH Tutor / IV
During a prolific career in the armed forces, Graham concentrated his education within the health and safety and security sectors. He has many qualifications including a BSc with the Open University, NEBOSH, NEBSM, ASIS, Msyl, MILog and is a member of The Chartered Institute of Management. In addition, Graham is a fully qualified NVQ assessor and verifier C23, D32/33 and D34. Graham teaches Health, Safety & Fire, Healthcare, First Aid and Moving and Handling.
Phil Sidman MIFire.E Fire Consultant & Tutor
Phil had 32 years of committed service to the Fire Service and 20 years were served in the Fire Safety sector. He is a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers. Phil is very experienced and knowledgeable and has gained, amongst several, the following qualifications: Specialist Fire Prevention, Building Regulations, Fire Investigation, IOSH Managing Safety and Accident Investigation. He teaches all aspects of Fire Regulations as well as conducting on-site assessments.
Cherrise Chand FCIPD MSc Tutor
Cherrise has over 13 years experience in Human Resource Management. She is an hr generalist and has previously worked for NHS.
Cherrise is fully familiar and has delivered on Employee Relations, TU Negotiations, Change Management, Business Transfers as well as Pay / Terms and Conditions issues.
Cherrise is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management and gained her Masters of Science in Human Resources.
Graham Boston MA MCMI MInstLM FCIPD Tutor / IV / EV
As a highly regarded and very successful Manager and Trainer, Graham has a background of excellence within the sphere of training. Having started his career in the railway industry, Graham rose through the ranks and was responsible for writing the entire training strategy for Great Eastern Railways before moving on to be an Independent Consultant in NVQs.
As an Assessor, Internal Verifier and External Verifier for PAC/NVQ CIPD approved courses, Graham brings a wealth of centre and programme guidance and performance management experience.
